HGC operates internationally and uses cloud-based service providers (including email, file storage, analytics and website hosting) that may store or process information outside Australia. The countries in which these providers operate include the United States, the European Union, and other jurisdictions where our service providers maintain infrastructure.

Where personal information is disclosed overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure the overseas recipient handles the information in accordance with the APPs. By submitting personal information to us you consent to its disclosure to overseas recipients on this basis.

We hold personal information in electronic form on systems operated by HGC and our service providers. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including through access controls, encryption in transit, secure cloud services and personnel training.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to support functionality and to understand how visitors use the site. We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console via Site Kit by Google to collect aggregated statistical information about website usage. This information is generally collected in a form that does not identify individuals.
